Looking Death in the Eye

It had been sometime since I had taken out my camera, so I started snapping around some photos of random stuff and in one of them I noticed my face on a mirro with some strange light. I saw myself staring into emptyness so I decided to fill that vod with death and fill death with myself and myself with death.

So in the end its just me daring my self to stare into the void only this time the void stared back.

All the reasources are my own.
Death is crudely modelled in Cinema4D and I grittted it up and comped it all in AfterEffects, I know it`s not the ideal platform for this, but I really get a kick of using software in an "unconvencional2 sense at least by my terms, And of course Photoshoped it later for further tweaking a little mor crudeness and messed death up so he`ll match me a little better.

And In case you have complaints on the quality grain bluring emptyness and lofi feel in general It`s all intentional. I don`t believe we have to use only hifi Hd footage and stock.

I believe true beauty is in the slight imperfections the world has to offer and how we harness these imperfections to enhance the rawness of our work.

(this is my opinion I understand many may have a diferent point of view and I accept it.
